Thats funny! Bill Gates thinks that iPod wont be around cuz the future is cell phones and not MP3 players. Well hello? Ever heard of Motorola's iTunes phone thats in the works?

Gates seems to have grand visions of convergence. Having the XBOX be a Media Center Extender, sure. Replacing Portable Music Players with Cellphones, um, why???
That said, your comment is funny. What Motorola is doing is exactly what Gates is claiming -- that Cellphones will get the iTunes etc playback functionality to the point that devices only made for music playback will be obsolete (iPods)...
