1. Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol). Though this song by itself does not sound like a Coldplay song, most of the songs by this band do and I reckon Coldplay fans will like this song anyway.
2. Sailed On (Landon Pigg). I got this song as a free download from iTunes Music Store last week. The Artist description on ITMS mentioned that his songs are similar to Coldplays, I wouldn't say this song is all that good, but it ain't all that bad either.

Yeah, and knowing you, you will probably go to a site that sells music in the WMA format... which should have pretty fast downloads because nobody uses them :)
That's why you need to have the links, so that I get to listen to samples etc on the music store of YOUR choice...

I do agree though, if I did buy music online and had to pick from the various stores, I would use bitrate (music quality) and ability to play through Media Center as the main deciding factors. iTunes would be out for both reasons.
(Why are iTunes music at the lowest bitrate of all the online music stores anyway?)
